Motivated by the aforementioned shortcoming of traditional pive isolation,
preliminary engineering studies have been performed on the real ship with its diesel generator
as the investigation object. The engineering design of actuator and controller, which are the
bottle neck problems in the restriction of active vibration control practical application, are
discussed and investigated in much depth. One te of sensor integrated inertial actuator has
been developed with the spring piece as the suspension spring.
